01 — Have you been made redundant?

You may not have needed to job search for many years. Things have changed, but with a few pointers and some fresh ideas you will be better equipped to find that new position.

02 — Are you re-entering the UK job market after a period away from it?

The jobs market may have changed since you last looked, but the principles remain the same. There are employers who have tasks that need doing and you want to offer your services. Matching the two sides up is where you may need some support.

03 — Do you feel at risk of losing your job at the moment?

If you are still working but feel concerned, there are things you can do now to prepare yourself more should the need arise.

04 — Are you still at school or college?

There are lots of ways you can prepare yourself to be more employable when you eventually leave education. Knowing what employers are looking for and, more importantly, how to demonstrate that you have those skills is key to your future.

05 — Are you a parent/carer looking for advice?

As a parent or carer of someone who will be looking for work in the future, you might feel helpless and unsure of where to go for information. You want to support but not take over - there are lots of very practical ways you can encourage the skills that your young person will need.

06 — Do you have additional challenges to overcome?

If you feel that you have extra barriers to finding the right job, there is support available, but it is not always easy to find and access.
